About Hannah May Williams
Hannah May Williams | BS
GRADUATE STUDENT COUNSELOR
Counseling for Adults (18+)
Hannah values warmth and genuine connection in her work with clients. She believes that counseling is collaborative and client-driven, and that each individual inherently has the tools and strengths that they need to reach their goals in therapy. Through humor and empathy, Hannah will walk alongside you on your journey towards finding your most authentic self.
Hannah uses she/her and they/them pronouns.
Hannah is interested in working with clients who have a wide range of concerns, including trauma, anxiety, depression, ADHD, body image concerns, disordered eating, and queer issues. She is well versed in trauma-informed care and prioritizes a fat-positive, anti-racist, and queer-affirming approach with all clients. Hannah’s work has eclectic roots in person-centered counseling, as well as Internal Family Systems (IFS) and somatic practices among other theories. Their practice prioritizes autonomy, emotion exploration, and mindfulness. Hannah is grounded in social justice and advocacy, and seeks to validate and understand clients authentically.
Hannah is passionate about making art, baking, and spending time with her loved ones. When they aren’t in the office, you can find them cross-stitching with friends, exploring new restaurants, or curled up with their cat, Simon.
