Hannah May Williams | BS

GRADUATE STUDENT COUNSELOR

Counseling for Adults and Teens (Age 16+)

Hannah values warmth and genuine connection in her work with clients. She provides a space where you can feel wholly accepted and understood. Hannah believes that growth happens when people feel empowered to fully be who they are and make changes to connect with their most genuine self. Through humor and empathy, Hannah will walk alongside you on your journey towards authenticity and peace.

Hannah uses she/her and they/them pronouns.

Hannah is passionate about providing affirming care for trans, nonbinary/GNC, and LGBTQIA+ folks. Hannah works with clients who have a wide range of concerns, including trauma, anxiety, ADHD, OCD or obsessive-compulsive behaviors, identity exploration, and people who identify as adult children of emotionally immature parents. She is well versed in trauma-informed care and prioritizes a fat-positive, anti-racist, and queer-affirming approach with all clients. Hannah’s work has roots in person-centered counseling, as well as Internal Family Systems (IFS) therapy. Hannah is grounded in social justice and advocacy, and seeks to understand clients individually and within the many systems they are a part of.

Hannah is passionate about making art, baking, and spending time with her loved ones. When they aren’t in the office, you can find them cross-stitching with friends, exploring new restaurants, or curled up with their cat, Simon.
