About the Group:
Over the course of 12 weeks, you’ll connect with others, receive guidance through narrative therapy-based writing prompts, and build a more hopeful, positive self-identity.
- Duration: 12 weeks
- Session Length: 80 minutes per session
- Format: In-Person or Online (TBD, based on group preference)
- Group Size: Minimum 6 clients, Maximum 10 clients
- Start Date: To be determined
- Time: Thursdays 11:00am- 12:30pm
Group Goals:

Use writing as a supportive coping tool to explore emotions, manage stress, and build resilience.

Make meaning of challenging life experiences through guided writing and narrative exploration.

Connect with others in a safe, affirming group space where shared experiences are met with care and understanding.

Engage in creative practices that support curiosity, insight, and personal growth.

Develop new perspectives on your story and strengthen a more compassionate, empowered sense of self.
What to Expect: Each week, you’ll engage in the following activities:
- Writing Prompts: Based on narrative therapy, these prompts will help you explore your thoughts and emotions.
- Sharing & Feedback: You’ll have opportunities to share your writing and give or receive constructive feedback.
- Weekly Check-Ins: Briefly discuss your current mood and any writing you’ve done during the week.
- Group Check-Out: Reflect on what you’ve learned, discuss any challenges, and provide feedback on the group experience.
