Nhu An (pronounced Noo-Anne) is a compassionate therapist with a focus on working with individuals navigating perinatal challenges, offering parent support, and addressing complex trauma, including family of origin and relationship trauma. She specializes in helping clients re-author their stories through a Narrative Therapy approach, empowering them to shift perspectives and discover new, positive ways of understanding their life experiences. Nhu An is deeply committed to supporting those who seek healing from longstanding trauma and relational difficulties, guiding them toward living a more fulfilling and authentic life.
In her work with parents and individuals facing perinatal struggles, Nhu An provides a safe, supportive space to explore identity shifts, emotional challenges, and the complexities of parenthood. She believes in the power of uncovering personal strengths and values as tools for healing and transformation, and she is passionate about helping her clients find meaning and growth in their stories.
Nhu An also brings a flexible, creative approach to therapy, integrating solution-focused techniques and therapeutic writing activities to promote self-reflection and personal growth. She helps clients develop emotional regulation, mindfulness, and interpersonal effectiveness skills, always meeting individuals where they are.
While Nhu An’s primary focus is on trauma, relationship issues, and perinatal concerns, she also works with clients with ADHD and co-occurring disorders who want support with developing a healthier lifestyle and reaching personal goals.
