About Hannah May Williams
Hannah May Williams | MS
LICENSED MENTAL HEALTH COUNSELOR ASSOCIATE
Counseling for Adults and Teens (Age 16+)
Hannah values warmth and genuine connection in their work with clients. They provide a space where you can feel wholly accepted and understood. Hannah believes that growth happens when people feel empowered to fully be who they are and make changes to connect with their most genuine self. Through humor and empathy, Hannah will walk alongside you on your journey towards authenticity and peace.
Hannah is passionate about providing affirming care for trans, nonbinary/gender-nonconforming, and LGBTQIA+ folks. Hannah works with clients who have a wide range of concerns, including trauma, anxiety, ADHD, OCD or obsessive-compulsive behaviors, and identity exploration. They are well versed in trauma-informed care and prioritize a fat-positive, anti-racist, HAES-informed, and queer-affirming approach with all clients. Hannah’s work has roots in person-centered counseling, Exposure and Response Prevention therapy (ERP), and Internal Family Systems (IFS). Hannah is grounded in social justice and advocacy, and seeks to understand clients individually and within the many systems they are a part of. Hannah manages chronic illnesses and ADHD and enjoys supporting clients who have similar experiences, both via the topics discussed in sessions and in the ways that sessions themselves are structured, in order to ensure accessibility for all.
Hannah is passionate about making art, baking, and spending time with their loved ones. When they aren’t in the office, you can find them cross-stitching with friends, exploring new restaurants, or curled up with their cat, Simon.
